How it Works

To enter the KVH Twitter Giveaway, follow these simple steps:

1) Look out for either of these Tweets from @KVH_JP:

Week 1 Tweet:
Entrants of the #KVHContest get to use our IaaS FREE! RT this and you could win an Apple TV! http://bit.ly/eKVHwk1

Week 2 Tweet:
Entrants of the #KVHContest get to use our IaaS FREE! RT this and you could win an Apple TV! http://bit.ly/eKVHwk2

2) Re-Tweet the Tweet from @KVH_JP

3) If you are chosen as a winner of the giveaway, @KVH_JP will contact you via a direct message (DM) on Twitter to request your mailing address If you are contacted for a mailing address, provide it to @KVH_JP via a DM (make sure you're following us!) and we'll mail your prize!

It's that simple!

The prize for both Week 1 (October 17-23) and Week 2 (October 24-31) is an Apple TV!

Twitter Giveaway Terms & Conditions

The terms and conditions of the Twitter giveaway are as follows:

To be eligible for the giveaway you must:
- Reside in Japan
- Re-Tweet one of the Tweets as outlined in “How the Competition Works” from @KVH_JP (Note: Re-Tweets of other Twitter accounts will not be eligible as an entry to the giveaway)
The giveaway will run over two weeks in two phases. The first phase (Phase 1) is from 09:00 (Tokyo time) Monday, October 17, 2011 to 24:00 midnight (Tokyo time) Sunday, October 23, 2011. The second phase (Phase 2) is from 09:00 (Tokyo time) Monday, October 24, 2011 to 24:00 midnight (Tokyo time) Sunday, October 31, 2011. Any entries to the giveaway outside of this time will be void.
A separate winner will be chosen for Phase 1 and Phase 2. The winner will be chosen randomly using a third party software tool selected by KVH Co., Ltd.
The winner of Phase 1 will receive an Apple iPod nano 6GB and an Apple iPod nano wristband watch. The winner of Phase 2 will receive an Apple TV. The respective prizes will be sent to winners after they have provided their mailing address via Twitter as described above in "How it works". Prizes will NOT be delivered to a mailing address outside of Japan. In the case that a mailing address outside of Japan is provided by a chosen winner, this will be considered as an illegitimate entry, and a new winner will be drawn.
In the case that the chosen winner does not respond to KVH's request to provide a mailing address within 3 working days, a new winner will be drawn.
Information provided by chosen winners over Twitter will be kept completely confidential by KVH and will not be used for any other internal or external use, other than for the purpose of delivering the contest prize to the provided address.
Entrants can only enter the giveaway once. i.e. Regardless of how many times a re-Tweet is made from one Twitter account, it will count as one entry.
KVH employees are not eligible to win this giveaway.
