Available in Tokyo and Osaka, KVH Leased Line Services is a point-to-point connectivity solution delivered over KVH’s optical fiber networks configured with SONET (Synchronous Optical Network) or WDM (Wave Length Division Multiplexing) rings. With our network ring configuration, traffic can be automatically rerouted within 50 milliseconds in the event of a transmission failure, providing instantaneous restoration and continuous availability.

KVH Leased Lines Services are available in three variations to satisfy your specific business needs:

Hi-Speed Digital Leased Line Services – Offered in speeds ranging from 1.5 Mbps to 10Gbps, KVH Hi-Speed Digital Leased Line Services use SONET or WDM customer premise equipment capable of accommodating multiple circuits to support future bandwidth expansion needs.

Ethernet Leased Line Services - Offered in speeds ranging from 10Mbps to 10Gbps, KVH Ethernet Leased Line Services are deployed using a media converter.

SmartGiga® – With guaranteed bandwidth from 1Gbps to 10Gbps, KVH SmartGiga® has fast delivery times and a variety of available interfaces, such as FICON, ESCOM in addition to Ethernet, to suit a wide array of enterprise applications from trading connectivity, BCP/DR solutions, and access to private or public cloud computing services.

All service variations are covered by competitive SLAs including guarantees on both Service Delivery as well as Fault Handling.
